According to the Pro Pickleball Tour, Johns has won, "more Triple Crowns than any other male in professional pickleball history". That's a great resume for someone in their low 20s with many years of professional play ahead of them. What's also interesting is that Ben has taken a Tom Brady-like approach to his career, building two businesses centered around his on court play.

The first is Pickleball 360, an educational resource for aspiring Pickleballers of all shapes, sizes and talent levels. The second is Pickleball Getaways, a travel company that provides unique Pickleball experiences alongside in-person instruction.

But let's get back to the success of winning a Triple Crown. Accomplishing this feat has meant that Johns has won a gold medal in all three divisions in a single tournament. That would explain how he has earned approximately $150,000 in prize money on the PPA Tour.

And of course, the life (and net worth) of a professional athlete wouldn't be complete without some sponsorship money. Ben's current sponsors include Joola, whom he has developed a premium paddle with, as well as Jigsaw Health and DUPR. According to Axios, Ben Johns made $250,000 in salary last year.

In terms of ranking, Johns is currently second to Tyson McGuffin on the tour.
